Band Marketing With Promotional Items
Many bands in United States of America and United Kingdom are using promotional items to promote their tours and band names. Teenagers love their music and bands so they will buy anything that has their favorite bands name or picture. Loved by many Harry Potter is one example that sold over millions of promotional products such as hat, t-shirts, key rings and many more all over the World.
Many Hip Hop and R N B stars promote their tours and brand names through promotional clothing such as hats. Rock bands target t-shirts, shoes, hats, drums, guitars and other promotional merchandises for their fans. If I am being honest I haven’t really seen any bands using promotional pens or promotional mugs to promote their tours. It’s normally the banners and promotional clothing products.
Fans often use promotional products of bands as personalised gifts to give to someone they love. Its not only the band who use promotional products others use it too. Many businesses are using it. It is used in sports by many sports teams. Celebrities use it. Many theme parks are using it such as Great American Ride, Thorpe Park and not to forget the one and only Disney Land. Many holiday resorts are using it across the World.
These promotional items are not only used by know bands. The new bands who are practically unknown are using promotional products to discover their new fans. This is a great idea as you can give the promotional items away for free at first and then when they know about you they will promote your music. After you have achieved your goal on reaching wider audiences then you can use these merchandises to promote your tours and also make money out of it.
Promotional pens and branded clothing is a great idea to give away when You Are just starting as a band. You can target young pupil from the age of 12 to 16 who love your type of music and target them to get your band started. This will be a idea start of what hopefully will be their long lasting career.
